Group 2- To Prove Angle of Elevation is Equal to the Angle of Depression

"Project based Learning allows students to enfold the skills within them..."

As part of the Project Based Learning, we had prepared a project on the topic “Applications of Trigonometry” where we mainly focused on angle of elevation and depression. For this we divided the work between us and tried our level best to give our 100 percent to it.

Starting with the research ....

we watched the folloing videos before we  began our activity:

Angle of Elevation & Depression

Starting with the research about the project till the completion of the seminar we had looked into every nook and corner. The first thing we had done was the demonstration of the activity to prove that angle of elevation is equal to angle of depression using a clinometer and a square cut-out under the guidance of our class teacher-cum- maths teacher, A.P.Usha ma’am.

This was followed by a Power Point presentation prepared by Sanjana Sundar which detailed about our topic and the solution of in-text questions and additional questions. Two charts were prepared, one on the basis of our topic and the other one briefing the activity which was prepared by Nandana and Vishnupriya . To show the angle of elevation and depression, a model was prepared by Allen Vincent and Aswin Sivadas. This helped to make others understand the topic well during Seminar.

Finally a project report was prepared including all the above details which was duly followed by a seminar presentation in the class.
