Group 1- How Trigonometry is Applicable in Solving Problems

"Individually we are One Drop; But together we are an Ocean. "

We were given the topic “Use of Trigonometry in other fields”. We started the work by the equal division of works among the different members of the crew. Each one was allotted with a task like the preparation of project report, power point presentations, charts, preparation of question banks and the demonstration of activity.

used to solve problems. (

The members of the group tried their level best to complete the work in hand, day in and day out, tirelessly. The division of work is described below.

The report was meant to be completed by Neha & Aparna who successfully completed their work on time. Same was the case with all other group members. The power point presentation was prepared in a wonderful way by Anna. The back bone of our project- The Charts were exquisitely made by Grishma and Aiswarya. Finally the contribution of Swathy is also worth citable.

As a last part of the project we were also asked to present a small seminar describing about all the works that we had done in the past few days and also was asked to explain a few questions based on our topic.

Learning through Experience - Beyond the Boundaries of Class Room

"The only source of knowledge is experience."

Classroom is just a box. Project based learning is our way to think out of the the box.  Trigonometry, the spine of mathematics, is our topic for the same. So this is how we moved on..........

Tell me and I'll forget, Teach me and I'll remember,
Involve me and I'll Learn and that's the Aim of PBL.

  • Formation of  7 groups and assigning of activities to each group.
  • Selection of group coordinator and defining the role of each group member.
  • Practical demonstration of assigned activities by each group.
  •  Continued with the rest of the project like preparation of power point presentations, charts, models  followed by a brief report of the same.
  • Seminar presentation
  • Expert talks.
  • Exhibition
  • Blog creation and publishing

EXHIBITION : An Overview.
